Monthly Meeting
We meet on the second Monday of every month at 6 pm at Unity of Oak Park.  Members may be invited to present fiduciary presentations to the board.  Just let the board know a month in advance so you may be included in the next board meeting.  There may be times when confidential matters are on the agenda so we might have to add you to the following board meeting.  Ministry-related issues such as classes and events must be directed towards the minister first.

The Responsibilities of a Board Member include:

  • Uphold the spiritual purpose of the Ministry

  • Uphold the highest interest of the Membership in conducting the business of the ministry

  • Be conversant in the Church’s By-Laws

  • Determine the business needs of this Ministry and authorize payment of monies for those purposes

The Qualification for Board Membership include:

  • Must be a Unity member for at least one year

  • Live according to Unity principles

  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities as well as being a “team player”

  • Willing to share your gifts/talents as a board member

  • Willing to actively participate as a board member
